Johanna is a qualified Social Worker with over 15 years experience in working with different clients in different settings and with different challenges. Johanna is a person who is dedicated and passionate about making a  difference in peoples lives and in society. With an Honors degree in Social Work from the University of South Africa, Johanna has lots of therapeutic experience. Johanna first started out at a NGO and was exposed to Social Work in all fields, she then joined the Department of Correctional Services where she worked as a Senior Social Worker for 7 years working with individuals and also specialized in recommendations to courts for Correctional Supervision as a sentence option. She later progressed to Managing the HIV and AIDS Programme in the specific Management Area in Correctional Services.

 

Johanna is registered with the South African Council for Social Service Professions, as well as the South African Council for Social Workers in Private Practice and the Board of Health Care Funders of Southern Africa.
